I’m sitting at home, sick with a cold/no voice but 100 ideas/goals! I have a link to a video that feels like money did when I was a kid-absolutely burning a hole in my pocket-LOL I know this “dates” me but I don’t care. This video illustrates so many good things that I can’t stand it any longer. My daughter, Erica, has four sweet babies that all were born at home. This is a video of the fourth, Isaac, born August 28, 2012. He came in the late afternoon after a wonderful pregnancy and labor. Lynsey Stone came for the birth and I cannot say enough good things about her and birth photography! I understand it is money that may seem better spent somewhere else but after thousands of births I can confidently say-nothing will bring you more pleasure…someday. My other little grandchildren were actively present at this birth and I would submit that no matter their response it is worthwhile to entertain their presence. If we are ever to undo the damage that has been done to birth in the United States it will undoubtedly start to change with our children and their children.
