kids dark chocolate

I absolutely love dark chocolate, but I can only imagine tasting it as a child it must be so gross! I’ll take a wild guess here, but kids typically prefer sweet milk chocolate.

As I’ve gotten older, I have, like many adults, acquired a taste for dark chocolate and it doesn’t hurt that is loaded with some incredible health benefits. Who doesn’t love that?

Dark chocolate can improve blood flow in your body and help lower your blood pressure. It’s high in antioxidants and can also lower your risk of heart disease. It contains properties that can protect your skin from the sun and improve your brain function.

So, if you haven’t tasted this delicious and surprisingly nutritious treat, you may want to give it a go. It’s perfect as an after dinner treat, just be sure to brush your teeth after and always remember, all things in moderation. Too much of a good thing can become a bad thing.

In the words of the ancient, Greek philosopher Democritus, “Throw moderation to the winds, and the greatest pleasures bring the greatest pains.” Savor the taste and enjoy the countless health benefits of eating this delicious treat.

This tv commercial for Splendid dark chocolate made me laugh so hard the first time I watched it. I would have reacted the same way these kids did and definitely been shocked by the bitter taste of what at first glance looks similar to milk chocolate.

The kids tasting dark chocolate in this video are just too cute for words, and watching their precious reactions of disdain is just precious.

Are you a fan of dark chocolate? If so, have you ever made homemade dark chocolate? I’m looking for any good tips and pointers here to get started here on a homemade recipe. Cheers!
